My new opportunity

I have taken a page out of Tonya's book and decided to become a photographer. I'm am going into business with my sister-in-law Alyse and I am very excited. Tonya has been amazing and if you know someone getting married, you should tell them to hire her. For everything else, come to me!

My business is called Red Poppy Studios and we specialize in pretty much everything except weddings. I have a website that Tonya designed and it is beautiful.

Here comes the begging part - Since building a business is hard, any help I could get from my family and friends would be greatly appreciated. Tell your friends, put a link to my blog - what ever you can do would be great.

I couldn't have done this with out all the love and support of my family and friends. You are all wonderful and I love you to pieces! Please also add the blog to your list so you can keep track of what we're doing at Red Poppy Studios!

Here are a few pictures we've taken:

Valentine's Day

Valentine's has never been a huge day for us but this year I was really surprised! On Thursday my doorbell rang and sitting on my doorstep were a dozen beautiful red roses from Bridget and James! They were so great! James hasn't bought me flowers for a while and this was such a great surprise.

We didn't do much on Valentine's day because it was Sunday but we did open presents and have a great dinner. I got James a cover for his GPS and a new sweater from Old Navy. Bridget got a cute red sweat suit and a new coloring book. It was a good day! She also got a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Pez set from Mark and Mackenzie and she was very excited about it.

We had a yummy dinner and ate steaks, lobster and had these heart shaped cherry pies that Bridget helped me make for dessert. It was fun to make them with her and she is still talking about them today!

I love my family and I hope you all had a great day!

Sledding in Roosevelt

While Tonya was here Bridget and I spent a week in Roosevelt and had so much fun hanging with the family. On Saturday we went down to Brian's house and the kids went sledding on his hill. They had a blast!

I remember how much fun I used to have playing with my cousins when I was a kid and I am so glad that Bridget gets to have the same kind of memories with her cousins. They are pretty great kids!

Brian is always making goofy faces and this day was no exception!

Bailey and Trenna had the best crash of the day. Tonya put this photo
montage together! Check out the face full of snow Bailey got!

I love these pictures of Bridget, she just looks so grown up.

Bridget and Paige - BFF's for sure!

The girls weren't too keen on climbing up the hill so Brian acted as the chairlift that day.

Paige and Bridget had so much fun playing in the snow.
