Blast from the past
I've been scanning in some old pictures to my computer and I came across this one. Look how cute Brian, Tonya and I look! This was taken in our house in Denver when Tonya was just brand new. I was 7 or 8. How simple life was back then! Check out my pig tails!

Goodbye Grandma Ballou
My sweet Grandma June E. Ballou passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2008. We are so sad to see her go but she has suffered for a while and my whole family is happy that she is reunited with Grandpa Ballou and with our Savior. I miss her tons and it's been hard for me. She was my last surviving grandparent and I will admit, its hard not having them around.
I'm also sad that Bridget won't get the chance to know her. I've taken her down there often and have some great pictures of the two of them together. She won't remember her, but she'll know her.
I'm going to miss you Grandma but I know that I will see you again.
Bridget's First Disneyland Trip
We had so much fun taking Bridget to Disneyland last week. James's mom and dad gave us this trip for Christmas last year and we had so much fun! She loved the carousel and Dumbo the best, but liked the other rides too. She even got to go on Pirates, the Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion. She was such a good girl and had so much fun with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins! And James and I had so much fun taking her!
She wasn't a huge fan of the characters up close, but she loved looking at them for a distance.

The Pudding Incident
I couldn't resist taking about 1oo pictures of Bridget today! She saw one of James's pudding cups while I was cleaning out the fridge and screamed her little head off until I gave her one. I stripped her down to her jeans, which she still managed to get pudding on, and let her go to town!

Halloween 2008
This year we had so much fun with Bridget for Halloween! She was so cute and had fun going trick or treating. She was a Utah Cheerleader (Go Utes!) and was the cutest baby I've ever seen in my life!
We took her to a nursery to look at pumpkins. She was so facinated by everything that she wouldn't look at the camera for me to take her picture. It was much easier last year for sure. But we got a few cute ones.
Early that day, we went up to Grandma Ven's house and Sheri, Eli and Aidan were there. We got some really cute pictures of the three kids! Then Bridget and I went up to my old office, where she was a huge hit!
On Halloween night, we went up to visit the Grandma and Grandpa Fisher which was really fun! Then we came home and went trick or treating up and down our street. We got to see the Lundberg boys in their costumes, the Gillmore girls in their and the Stringham clan in their costumes. It was such a fun night! After we got home and were passing out candy, Bridget changed into her jammies and had such a good time looking at all the kids that came to our house in their costumes.
